Like many modern love stories, Andrew and Joshua’s began with a dating app and a single message. While the origin may have been typical, the connection that followed was anything but.
AJ and Josh started dating in 2018, quickly bonding over their shared love of Pokémon, animals, and of course being gay. Their love story found a new home when they moved to Long Beach, where they continued to grow together and build a life full of laughter, adventures, and inside jokes.
They both knew from the start that theirs was a forever kind of love, and in December 2021, Josh made it official by proposing to AJ. In June 2023, they tied the knot and took the next big (and fabulous) step in their adventure surrounded by the people they love most.
These days, AJ is a CPA, Josh is wrapping up his BS degree at Cal State Long Beach, and they’ve added a dog to their little family. Together, they’re juggling work, school, and life while making sure to take time to connect with each other, their family, and their friends.
